ARBOR COMMITTEE

The Arbor Committee is responsible for maintaining and beautifying the Parish grounds that consist of trees, shrubs, and 1.5 acres of grass. Most of the work required to meet this responsibility is maintenance such as weeding, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and mulching. New plantings are involved when trees, shrubs, and flowers need to be replaced. Much of the Arbor Committee work can be done individually or in small groups with members supplying some of their own tools. Group projects are normally scheduled on Saturdays on non- interfering basis with other Church programs. If you enjoy working outdoors with plants and lawn care, plus have a few hours each month, consider joining the Arbor Committee. No special skills are required, only a desire to help maintain and beautify the parish grounds.
