PASTORAL ADVISORY COUNCIL

The Pastoral Advisory Council of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church serves to offer advice and counsel to the Pastor in all matters relating to the good of the parish. Although the final decision in both spiritual and material matters rests with the Pastor / Parish Administrator, the Council offers its advice honestly and openly, and implements all decisions which fall within the scope of Council responsibility. To this end, the Council's membership reflects all disciplines and significant activities of the Parish to ensure, insofar as possible that all relevant voices are heard on issues which come before the Council. The Council acts for the betterment of the physical plant, the spiritual nourishment, and the overall well being of the people. The Council consists of the Pastor / Parish Administrator, Parochial Vicar and any other members of the clergy, a chairperson, vice- chairperson, secretary, one representative from each standing committee, five members-at-large, one representative of the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Knights of Columbus Council, and any ex- officio members. The members-at-large serve a maximum of two terms, with each term lasting two years. Bulletin announcements in November solicit volunteers for the members-at-large positions, which are coming open that year.
