WORSHIP WATCH

SEAS Worship Watch became active during the winter of 1998. The purpose of Worship Watch is to create and maintain a safe environment in and around church property. Patterned after "Neighborhood Watch," the program depends upon members of the parish to provide the manpower needed to perform the watch. SEAS has three watch teams. Each watch team is responsible for a month, and the rotation repeats every three months. Each team has a "Watch Captain" who develops a monthly schedule for his team. Team members are typically assigned one watch day during the month his/her team has the duty. The individual with the watch determines how and when he or she will perform the watch on the assigned day. Each team has approximately 25 members. Since there are not quite enough participants to completely fill the roster, a few members of the team, on a rotational basis, are asked to perform the watch an additional time. We can use your help.
