Annual Life Chain Held on Sunday, October 2
The annual Life Chain along Smoketown Road took place on Respect Life Sunday, October 2, 2005, from 2:30 – 3:30 P.M. Approximately 100 SEAS parishioners participated in this silent Pro-Life demonstration. They joined many other local churches in a truly ecumenical event in support of the sacredness of life.
Bob Lohfeld, a SEAS parishioner, partnered with his
employer to transport supplies donated by parishioners to areas hit by the
hurricane in Alabama and Mississippi. Bob’s truck with trailer attached and
the donated Mayflower truck are pictured above. See Katrina story on page 4.
