Ministry Guide

Our SEAS Community is served by nearly 500 volunteers who give of their precious time, to serve our Church in one capacity or another. This number represents about 20% of our 2,500 plus family Congregation. We can always use more, including you.

When a young mother was asked why she volunteered her time as a Choir member, she responded 1) she likes to sing, 2) she wanted to meet more people, 3) she once learned, that if you sing at church, as St. Augustine said, you are praying twice and 4) she wanted to give something back to the Church.

We ask each of you to review our list of ministries, prepared by volunteers, and choose a committee with which you will feel comfortable.

You will be joining other parishioners, who at one time were just as apprehensive about joining a committee and volunteering some time, as you may be feeling now.
